Let’s Go Deeper…

Extra virgin coconut oil

A proven antibacterial and detoxifier clean your teeth, gums, and tongue extracting toxins and bacteria out of it.

Aloe vera oil

Eliminates pathogenic oral microflora—disease-causing bacteria—in the mouth. Oregano oil is a powerful natural antiseptic, penetrant and bacteria killer.

Baking soda

Contrary to a widely held belief, baking soda is actually the least abrasive agent (apart from plain water) one could use for tooth brushing. Due to its alkalinity (high pH3) will neutralize the acids in the mouth (a major cause of tooth decay), kill germs, mop up unpleasant odors and thus help sweeten your breath and keep your gums healthy.

Sweetened with xylitol who has become popular in dental preparations recently due to cavity-fighting properties. Its effectiveness can be compared to that of fluoride but without the potentially harmful effects of swallowing fluoride.

Bentonite Clay

Has been used for centuries to help detoxify the body. When consumed, it absorbs toxins, impurities, heavy metals and other internal contaminants. Bentonite clay is also used in Lucky Teeth Toothpaste for it is very mild abrasive properties to help scrub and polish the teeth.

Ylang Ylang Oil

Research shows that this oil has positive effects on immune health, blood flow and emotions, making it a natural remedy for the endocrine, cardiovascular, reproductive and digestive systems.

  • Increasing blood flow
  • Relieving inflammation
  • Fighting parasites
  • Regulating heartbeat
  • Healing cardiac problems
  • Lifting someone’s mood and lowering anxiety
  • Promoting healthy intestinal function

Eucalyptus Oil

It’s one of the best essential oils for sore throats, cough, seasonal allergies and headaches. Eucalyptus oil benefits are due to its ability to stimulate immunity, provide antioxidant protection and improve respiratory circulation.

Traditionally, eucalyptus oil was used as an analgesic agent that helped to relieve pain, and it was valued for its ability to reduce inflammation and improve respiratory conditions. Eucalyptus is also well known for its ability to fight bacterial, viral and fungal infections, and to help clear the respiratory tract of built-up mucus.

Grapefruit Oil

Naturally high in antioxidants and phytochemicals that reduce oxidative stress and disease-causing inflammation. Many of the grapefruit essential oil benefits are due to one of its main constituents called limonene (which makes up about 88 percent to 95 percent of the oil). Limonene is known to be a tumor-fighting, cancer-preventative phytochemical that protects DNA and cells from damage. In addition to limonene, grapefruit essential oil contains other powerful antioxidants, including vitamin C, myrcene, terpinene, pinene and citronellol.

Most commonly, grapefruit oil is used to fight throat and respiratory infections, fatigue, and muscle aches. Grapefruit oil has antimicrobial effects that help reduce or eliminate harmful strains of bacteria that enter the body through contaminated foods, water or parasites. Research shows that grapefruit oil can even fight strong bacterial strains that are responsible for food-born illnesses, including E. Coli and salmonella.

Kids’ Dental Care

One vital part of your kid’s dental care is choosing the right kind of toothpaste. They may be attracted to some commercial toothpaste because of funny characters or sweet-tasting flavors. However, the ingredients in those types of toothpaste may not be the best thing for your child.

Instead, you should consider organic toothpaste. Here are a few reasons why.

Why To Use Organic Toothpaste For Kids

1. Less Fluoride

Your child is already going to receive plenty of fluoride treatments from their dentist. You may even have fluoride in your water. Your children don’t need anymore. Having too much fluoride can actually harm your teeth and bones.

Organic toothpaste doesn’t contain fluoride. Your children can safely use it without you having to worry about how much fluoride is in their bodies.

2. Safe to Consume

Organic toothpaste is usually made of ingredients like peppermint, mint, cinnamon, and other natural ingredients. These are all safe to consume. Babies regularly eat toothpaste because they haven’t developed the strength to spit yet. Children often forget to spit toothpaste or like to consume it because it tastes good.

That becomes a problem when you use commercial toothpaste. Those are packed full of chemicals and preservatives. They’re not safe to eat.

Organic toothpaste is.

3. Eases Tooth Aches

As your children’s teeth grow, they’re likely going to experience some growing pains. Organic toothpaste can help. Certain ingredients in organic toothpaste can reduce inflammation. As a result, your child will experience less discomfort.

Even older children who receive braces or other dental fixtures may find relief with organic toothpaste. It can soothe their gums and keep them fresh.

4. Smells Great

A problem with regular toothpaste geared towards children is that is packed with artificial flavorings and colorings that will do more harm than good.

With organic toothpaste, your children’s mouth will smell great and feel great by using natural essential oils instead of flavorings.

Kids Have More Sensitive Teeth

Children have sensitive teeth. Even if they still have their baby teeth, you should do everything you can to protect them. Losing their baby teeth too early can set them up for dental disaster later. Teeth rely on each other for proper alignment. If your baby loses its teeth too early, then it can result in overcrowding and unaligned teeth.

Children who have adult teeth need to take care of them. Those are the only teeth that they’ll have for the rest of their life. Taking care of them early on can set them up for a healthy future.

Prefer Organic Dental Care Products For Your Children

The dental choices that you make for your child can establish how they approach dental care for the rest of their life.
